Dr. Tania Trapolini is a warm, compassionate, and experienced Clinical Psychologist who works in close partnership with her clients to help them better understand and process the issues that may be causing distress or difficulty.

While she enjoys working with adults at all stages of life, Tania has particular expertise in perinatal mental health and is passionate about supporting individuals and families as they navigate their unique journey into parenthood—from conception and pregnancy to birth and beyond. She has held roles across both public and private sectors, focusing on enhancing parent-infant relationships. Her experience includes research and clinical work in Postnatal Depression and Mental Health Teams, leading IVF clinics, and her current role as a Supervisor for the Gidget Foundation.

In addition to her specialist interests, Tania has extensive experience in treating a wide range of psychological concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma-related difficulties, grief and loss, relationship challenges, self-esteem issues, and adjustment to major life changes. She is also trained in EMDR and takes a flexible, compassionate approach to therapy. Tania remains an Honorary Associate at Macquarie University’s Psychology Department.
